The 2023 property tax rate is $.83 per $100 of assessed value.

Taxes are due and payable October 1st of each year through the last day of February without interest.

Any changes to name or address should be done through the County Property Assessor's Office at (423) 775-7840.

Tax Relief

If you are an elderly homeowner age 65 or older, a disabled homeowner, or disabled veteran homeowner, or a widow(er) of a disabled veteran you may be eligible for property tax relief. Please contact our office to see if you qualify.
